About Me

— how I can help

I am a third year Physicist currently studying on my Year Abroad in Heidelberg, Germany. In my first two years I was a member of ICBC, ICSE, Sinfonietta, Cheese, Fellwanderers and the Choir as well as taking part in events as diverse as the Four Inns Hiking Challenge (45 miles in a day!) to the Gilbert and Sullivan Marathon. I have held the committee positions of President, Secretary and Librarian simultaneously and have also organised a tour and even planned food for an expedition to the Tatras in Poland and Slovakia!

I have done my best to take part in the amazing diversity of experiences on offer at Imperial and this willingness to get involved will serve me well as DPCS. Finally, I feel that my Year Abroad has been an amazing experience, but also a very difficult one, I now have even more respect for those of you studying here in your second, or even third or fourth languages now that I have experienced living alone in a foreign country for myself. I passionately want to help students from home and abroad find a place to thrive in our Union.
